The monovarietal Extra Virgin olive oil “Dritta” Delia Orsini is produced exclusively with olives at the right degree of ripeness and carefully selected during the harvesting phase in the olive grove of our farm, which bears the same name as the oil. The olives come from a land where the organic certification process was started in lasts three years and ended in June 2021. Since the olives were harvested in October 2020, the oil cannot be considered organic, but in conversion to organic farming.
The cultivated olive tree is the “dritta”, an ancient native variety of Abruzzo region, and the oil we obtain is characterized by hints of almond and artichoke, as well as a high level of polyphenols.
The oil is kept in dedicated rooms of our farm inside steel tanks. Upon requests, the oil is packaged in 1 and 5 liter cans. The smaller format is ideal for those who need a practical and handy container, the larger format is the ideal stock for families who use it in quantity to season everyday dishes.
